Another World is Possible
The first ever US Social Forum (spin off of the World Social Forum) will be held in Atlanta, Georgia, June 27-July 1, 2007. The World Social Forum argues that another world is possible; the USSF asserts (and rightly so) that if another world is possible, another US is necessary. It should be inspiring, or maybe just depressing. We'll see. Which reminds me, I heard on the radio recently that New Orleans is officially looking to other countries to get the money they need to rebuild because our government has yet to deliver the bulk of the promised FEMA funds. I'm just a ray of sunshine today. I'm photographing a sunflower farm tomorrow morning with "my boys". I'll try and post shiny happy thoughts and pretty pictures.
