I'm Home...
After four days of driving (15 on the last day) I am back in Georgia. Crazy. I can't quite believe it. I'm in Madison for the weekend, but then I'm heading up to Atlanta to get to work; a year will be over before I know it. First order of business is getting a job. I'm hoping to work as a tour guide. This way I can earn money and do research. Maybe I'll get to be an "interpreter". The possibilities are endless.

The Hiatus is Back Off Again
My title is a rough paraphrase of a Beastie Boys' sticker that I have on the CD case that I use for my radio show, which IS on hiatus. Why you may ask (or not)? Well, as of last Wednesday I am a bonified PhD candidate in sociology. What does this mean? A couple of things: 1) Graduate Division will stop harassing me and 2) I'm moving back to Georgia to conduct research for the next year. I’m pretty darn excited. At the moment I am in a hotel room in New Mexico. I’m two days into my return trip. So far it’s pretty uneventful, but you can see pictures here. I’ll be updating the buzznet site regularly so check it out.
