Life in SB

I just got of the phone with swallis, Susan Fahey to some of you. Sounds like she's doing well, although, as expected, very tired. It's hard to belive that swallis is a mother. It seems like just yesterday when everyone thought we had a drinking problem during our Senior year of high school. At the risk of sounding cliche, oh how time flies...

We are just finishing the first week of spring quarter. It's still kind of Spring Break for me, as my tutoring job doesn't start until next week and I spent my actual Spring Break on jury duty and grading.

I found a new roommate, another guy, which is surprising to me, but it seems to be working out okay. No weird psycho incidents...yet. I guess the most interesting and exciting news for me, is that I have a radio show on KCSB FM 91.9 in Santa Barbara next quarter. The bad news is that I have to pay my dues, so the show is from 4am to 6am Monday morning. I hope I don't get addicted to crank like David Silver. The good news is that with the time change those of you who get up relatively early can catch me on our web cast. It should be interesting.

Good news... I had the 3am to 6am Monday shift at WUOG in 1988 and I did not get addicted to crank. Of course, David Silver was still broadcasting from his drama class in 1988. Wow... was there ever a "before 90210" for me? I can't recall, truly.

Congrats on the new non-psycho roomie. Good luck!
