from the bathroom floor to "two-fiddy" at black jack

I think the title says it all, but I'll fill in some details. Me and my peeps went to Vegas for our regular (about once a quarter in the past) trip. All was going fairly well, although I wasn't winning anything. After a particularly frustrating Craps session I decided I wanted to play Black Jack for the first time ever. I lost twenty bucks before I knew what was happening, but I hung in there and with a little help from my friend Ted I was able to get the basics down. Ted left and I continued to play and made some new friends, most notable Mark from Costa Mesa. Anyhow, as anyone who has been to Vegas knows there is a pretty constant flow of free drinks, especially when you are playing table games, so I kind of forgot myself and got really drunk. This was not helped by the fact that I had somehow managed to eat nothing for the entire day (I was trying to save myself for a fancy buffet on the strip). I somehow managed to stagger back to the hotel room, got sick and passed out on the bathroom floor. I managed to move my self to the bed and slept for a few hours while my friends went and got dinner (I joined them breifly before realizing I needed to sleep a little longer). When I awoke the second time my friends were there and preparing to go back out, so I joined them. Long story short I gambled until I only had $25 left, but I then had an uncontrollable urge to play some more Black Jack. So, I went and watched my friend John play some slots and then we both headed over to the Golden Gate to play some Black Jack. I sat down, exchanged my last $20 ( I held $5 dollars back so I that I could go home with something in my pocket) into 4 $5 dollar chips, and proceeded to play Black Jack until 3am. When it was all said and done I had turned the $20 into two hundred and fifty dollars. Unfortunately, I'm afraid this was beginners luck, but I enjoyed it all the same. A mere 24hours later my radio show "Girls Grow Up Faster" premiered on KCSB. Oh, and did I mention that I'm getting free internet from my new wireless card? Sometimes, life is good and yes, I may have a problem.
