I Spy Dennis Quaid
I'm back in SB and supposedly full of energy and purpose for the new year and quarter, but it dosen't quite feel like it at the moment. Hence, I am procrastinating by blogging. I'm back. I had a wonderful break, much of which you heard about through Chip. I'll be sharing choice quotes and tidbits in the following days, as most of it is recorded for prosterity in my notebook. First, as this is the spy notebook, I will share an event from the trip home. There I was innocently waiting in line at Starbucks for a latte at the Atlanta airport when Dennis Quaid walks up with a women who could easily be his daughter and gets in line behind me. I was stunned and excited, and sadly easily fell prey to being star struck in the presence of fame. I quickly thought over my potential course of action. Do I ask for an autograph? Do a tell him how much I loved him in Inner Space? Before I could make a decsion the moment was gone and I was forced to play it cool and act like I didn't know who he was. It's probably all for the best.
