Hey Y'all - I am living the life. My roommate is gone for about a month and I am set up in the living room with my new computer. I'm blogging and watching the In Crowd at the same time. This rocks! Chip did you watch it? It seems like your kind of movie. I've also recently discovered the joy of decoupage. Every available surface has been covered. Otherwise, I've been enjoying the lazy days of summer. I do love being a student! It certainly has some drawbacks, but I have to remind myself that some parts really rule. I went garage selling this weekend and totally racked up! I bought an Atari with bag full of games, a bamboo/tiki inspired display shelf plus other interesting items. Now I just have to stick to my new rule: for every new thing that comes into the house, two things of equal or greater size have to leave. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to do it, but I desperately need to get rid of some of my clutter. I'm way too much of a pack rack! Okay, two girls were just making out. This is definitely Chip's kind of movie. Hell, who am I kidding. This is my kind of movie! I've got to start paying better attention. This is getting good. Later...

Okay. so after nearly a year of no internet access at home I am finally up and running AND I have a cable modem. Life is sweet. I just got a new labtop (it came in the mail today) and I am enjoying some web surfing while sitting in my living room. I used to fear the future; now I am the future.

The quarter is finally over (more or less) and I am in serious procrastination mode. I have a paper to write, which I'm pretty sure was due today, but I can't seem to make myself work. The new play toy certainly isn't helping. Tomorrow I'm going to LA to hang out with my brother and his family. They are on their way to Guam and have a layover in LA.

To be continued....
