Time to get back to some semi-regular blogging.

Chip, I didn't get an invite to the watching or eating blogs, and I would very much like to join. If I were on the Muchies blog I would write about how much I love my new Grit Cookbook. SO far I have made (to varying degree of success):
1) Blondies - a little overdone and I unfortunately now know exactly how full of fat they are!
2) A Golden Bowl - The tofu was close, but not quite there. Does anyone have any tips for getting water out of tofu? I've also realized that a normal serving size is a fraction of what they serve you at the Grit.
3) Yeast Gravy - Just as I remember it!
4) Collard Greens. This has been by far my favorite. I've made it three times! I just can't get enough of it! Yesterday I made some black eyed peas (recipe from Sundays at Moosewood) to go with them. Yum. Yum.
I'm so glad that Bonnie has joined the spy notebook. Welcome! The West Coast crew is growing so big. Bonnie, I love the way you casually mention going to Sundance (as if that's an everyday occurance in the real world)! Did you see any good films? Was Parker Posey a bitch? I've heard that she is.
Courtney, I'm so glad that someone else comes up with alternative lives, but yours are much more detailed and though out than mine. Mine are usually much more half-assed, like moving to New York, but not really knowing what I want to do there. I've thought about becoming a photographer. If you remember the Angel dream, please do share. I wish I had Buffy dreams!

Shelly, what's an average time for running a marathon? I'm so very impressed with your training. I don't think I could run 3 feet. I am truly impressed.

Jenny, I vote for HIPPER, with a "C" sticker added.

Stephanie H. Thanks so much for sharing your pictures of the Coulters. They are all so cute, and the hair! How adorable!

I'm having a bit of a lazy morning after a late night of revisions, but things are looking good. I'm hoping to have a draft completed in a week or so. Then it's party time. Yes, there will still be some work to do, but the revision stage is my absolute favorite time in the writing process. Is that weird?

Okay, that's it for now. Happy Buffy watching!
