Merry, Merry!

I hope everyone has had a great holiday season thus far. I just want to say that I wish I had the shoes that Amy dreamed about. They sound *so* cool. Teener and I have been swamped trying to put together a 40th Wedding Anniversary party for our parents. Hopefully, we'll be able to come out and play after tomorrow. Bye.

LOTR on IMAX

Hey Y'all -- I just saw LOTR on an IMAX screen with Chip, Cash, Kam and some people whose names I don't remember. It was soooooo cool, but I wasn't prepared for the ending. Yes, I haven't read the books.

For the record, I still DO NOT LIKE the stupid "Felitcity" theme song. Chip is sadly mistaken if he thinks he made me like it by playing it over and over again; I will admit that I found listening to the song more amusing than ever, BUT I still hate it and in the future I will continue to mute it or leave them room.

I hope everyone has a Merry Merry.

Just in case....

Hello all. I'm leaving for LAX where I will begin my journey to Georgia. I hope to see many of you there. If I should die a spectacular death and they decide to make a movie, I would like for Cate Blanchet to play me in the made for television movie. Adrian Brody should play my non-existent boyfiend. If he's not available, make them cast Rick Springfield or Benicio ( I'm sure they'll take a little artistic liscense!). Much love, Sara

Susan's funny. I say go for it. Buy the silk comforter. Does anyone else wish that Susan really was a tiny monkey? How cool would that be? I could carry her around in my pocket all day.

Angel was pretty cool. I'm with Chip on not being quite sure about where all of this baby stuff is headed, but I'm willing to go along for the ride for the moment. It was really sad when Darla killed herself to save the baby. What did you guys think of that? They (Buffy/Angel creators) haven't pissed me off too much so far. Well, okay we all know that Riley and the Initiative really sucked, but even they knew that. I saw a writer from Buffy (Jane Espenson) give a talk during that season and she admitted that it wasn't the best they'd done and that Joss had never been happy with the trajectory of that season. It was also why they opted to end that season with the weird episode with the dreaming and the first slayer stuff by way of setting up the next season. I'm excited to watch "Hush" tonight. It was such a creepy episode.

God these damn things are stupid, and yet so addictive. I think I particularly like that they provide all the code so that you can transport the information and make it look pretty without any effort.

I'm The James Bond Villain Personality Test!

I live in a fictional world of spies and blonde women with ridiculous names, and I like to give people plenty of options. Although whether they're villainous is not optional.

I realize that I've only been posting the results of various quizzes, but they're more interesting than anything that's happening in my life, so you're not missing anything.

Courtney, I just bought a guitar and have been looking into lessons. The price you quoted seems really good.

I went to a X-Mas Tree trimming party last night and had a blast. The best part was that Jay and Ted put tinsel on their tree; we never put tinsel on our tree, so I really got into it. There really is an art to it. You just can't throw it on (although towards the end I was) you have to put it on one strand at a time. We also made some decisions about the band:

our name: The Evil Ones

songs:
Anarchist Ninja
What the fuck do you want from me?
Smoke you out (of your cave)
Suspicious Package
deflag
* I forgot the rest, luckily Jay wrote them down.

Our first album cover will be a picutre of a beheaded Columbes statue.

Back to work.

Later,

Sara

More Quizes

If I were a work of art, I would be Pablo Picasso's Three Musicians.

I am colourful and provoking, always looking to break out of the mould and to pioneer new ways of doing things. I have a jaunty outlook and although I am a bit weird, most people have some idea what I'm about.

Which work of art would you be? The Art Test

If I were a James Bond villain, I would be Ernst Stavro Blofeld.

I enjoy fluffy white cats, dropping people in piranha pools, and initiating World War III.

I am played by Donald Pleasence in You Only Live Twice.
