Blast from the Past

Chipper: Where in the hell did you "spy" all of those people? There are so many blasts from the past on that list! Crazy. I'm sure it's nothing that interesting, but I'm imagining some amazing circumstances, on second thought, don't tell me; I'm sure my imagination is better than what actually occured

How public are our Blogs?

Can other people read them? The main Blogger web page talks about people hooking up on Blogger. Hmmmmm. Very Interesting.

So, I didn't write a Blog yesterday, but it's because I was just so damn busy and productive (kind of). I did get some cleaning done and I went grocery shopping. I made some yummy squash. I talked to Susan about wedding stuff. The dresses that she has chosen for us are very nice; I am very pleased. I also went and worked out, because I am now worried about fitting into said dress. Now I have to get to work. I am writing today! Check y'all later.

Stephanie: Please send me you phone number. My email is sara@athenstown.com. I'm so glad that you are going to get Dim Sum with us. MMMMMMMMMMMMM! Har Gao (shrimp dumpling)!!!!!!!

Damn, the internet is slow tonight, but I kept trying. That's dedication. I was determined to get a blog in for today. Not to mention it's a bit nerve racking that Amy is keeping tabs on everybody's blogger activity. Here's what I did today:

woke up ( I'm not going to disclose the time)
10:00 meeting with Sarah Fenstermaker (committee member) - great meeting, I now feel loved again - it's really pathetic how much graduate students crave praise!
11:30 home, lunch (chicken noodle soup), Days and Passions, Nap
3:15 YOGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
5:00 watched my new favorite TV show: Trading Spaces on TLC. I highly recommend it.
6:30 Sushi with Samara. The Santa Barbara Roll was DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!
8:00 TV: big brother, Russel Crowe Biography, The Daily Show
11:30 bed, blogger

Such is the life of a graduate student during the summer. Pretty pathetic. Tomorrow I am cleaning, shopping ( I'm afraid I'm going to get scurvy if I don't get some fruits and vegetables soon!), workout, writing! You all have my permission to yell at me if I don't write tomorrow, especially since I lied to Sarah and said that I've been writing a lot! I know that this has been incredibly thrilling for all of you. I'm hoping it will shame me into getting some work done if I recount my days on blogger. This weekend I think I'm going to see Walker Evans at the Getty Center in LA. Afterwards we're going to get some yummy food somewhere in LA. I love LA outings! Next weekend I might go to San Francisco to visit my friend Susanna. Stephanie (and of course Alex, Shelly and Trevor) will you guys be around? Maybe you guys can get some Dim Sum with us. MMMMMMMM Har Gao. Later, Sara

Chip: I'm gad that you agree with me. I felt like I was going out on a limb. I mean she is Madonna!

Madonna is just not what she used to be. It is a sad day.

Hello all. Well, it's rather soon for me to write again, but I am trying to turn over a new leaf. I'm sitting quietly, writing my blog and listening to Pat Benatar. What a great way to spend time on a Sunday afternoon. After I'm done here I have to get ready to go to a Madonna party. I'm putting on lots of rhinestones and going as the Material Girl Madonna. Fun! In other news, I really think that Chip and I (and Amy if you want to) should celebrate our upcoming birthdays in Vegas. It would be so much fun! We could go to Quark's Bar, Star Trek the Experience, the roller cosater on top of the Stratosphere (tallest building west of the Mississippi) and we could see Rick Springfield in EFX. Not to mention all of the fun that I would have playing craps! What do you think Chip? Of course all of you would be invited to join us. Flights to Vegas are cheap!

Tina, I changed my template. I hope you are happy.

Hello, hello, hello. I know I'm really lame when it comes to blogging. Part of the problem is that I'm an idiot and I constantly lose blogs after I have written them. It's really quite embarassing, but I feel I can share it with you, my friends.

I just returned from seeing Hedwig and the Angry Inch. I liked it. I was particularly happy to see that cute kid from Dawson's Creek. Otherwise not much going on here. I had a brunch on Sarturday that was very yummy and then I walked down the block to see a statue of Columbus that had been beheaded by "vandals". It was great. They spray painted "Rape," "Teach Children the Truth," and "Stop Telling Lies" on the base of the statue. I love whoever did this! It was particularly fun because it is currently Fiesta, or old Spanish Days, which is basically a big celebration of colonialism.
