Today I got a lot accomplished, but nothing on the MA. I met with friends Sully and Helene to plan the TA Training Workshop for the incoming graduate students in my department. Then I went to another meeting to discuss my MA with Laura, Glyn and Ted (my "work group"). Now I'm killing time before going to get Sushi with my friend Samara. We haven't seen each other since early July when we met for Egg McMuffins at LAX. I've REALLY missed her. It will also be my first time eating sushi in at least a month. Hmmmmmm sushi. Just thinking about it is making my mouth water. Catch you guys later. Oh yeah, I also cooked a chicken pot pie, but I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow to enjoy it. Sushi calls.
p.s.
I feel that I should I that I haven't read many of the books listed below, so don't think I'm a nerd or anything.

Thanks to Stephanie, Courtney and Teener for figuring out the blog posting. I'd post this on the main page, but I haven't figured out how to do that. If anyone could tell me how, I would greatly appreciate it.
I've avoided doing work by surfing on ebay and spending money on stuff that I shoudn't, but I did score a pretty darn good Christmas present for someone in my family. Tina, yes it's for you, so don't ask. As you can tell, I can relate to Stephanie's plight about shopping, clothing, etc. We must work on a scheme to support our consumer habits Stephanie.
Okay, back to work, or maybe Passions, I haven't decided yet.

I'm Back Baby!
I returned to Santa Barbara early yesterday evening. I crashed pretty early, even though I only had 20 pages left in the book I was reading. It's good to be back, but I do miss Georgia. Luckily I'll be back very soon for Michelle Safter's wedding. I know it will be great fun for all. The hardest thing is saying goodbye to my nieces. They are the cutest ever - really. Now I'm off to Chatsworth (LA area) for a Labor Day Party with my cousin and her family. I hope that all of you enjoy your holiday--be safe.

I want to start wearing clothes that display "elegant disdain, yet sincere concern." Any suggestions? I feel that my newly aquired vintage (1958) Christian Dior jewelry set will definitely be involved. If I was technicially inclined you would be able to link to a picture right now. I'll have to work on that.
