Hello all. Sorry fot the long silence, but I've been in Georgia for the last month and have had limited access to e-mail and the internet. It's probably just as well, as I've heard that the blogs turned a bit nasty for a little bit. I return to Santa Barbara on Saturday. My feelings are mixed. I'm anxious to get back and get to work, but I hate leaving friends and family. One plus to going back is that I'm starting a new research job that involves watching television. I love academia. I'm going to get paid 13 dollars and hour to watch TV! In other news, I found my Official Chip and Nick Calendar last night and it will work for this year. I could have been using it since January! Oh well. It was a nice reminder of the old days and Chip and Nick were so gracious when they dedicated it to me. It almost made me cry. Now I need to find that poem that they wrote about why I was better than Tina...... later.
