What a deal - thank you Barganza!
Well, my purchase from the Barganza wasn't as photogenic or as exciting as Chip and Jocelyn's (I really want to read the Betty White and look forward to Greenies from the pitcher - bring it on Monday night so we can use my new blender in style). I bought the Seinfeld 3 season box set for $35, unopened. I'd say it was a bargain indeed, seeing as how it comes with a napkin dispenser, mini script and playing cards, and it was usually $90, I'm just wondering how it made it there, it was definitely out of place next to the God Shuffled His Feet by the Crash Test Dummies and the Las Vegas Clothes pin desk accessory.
Well, I am about 3 months behind on the blogging, but half of the time when I'm on the computer I'm in a foul mood about my job, so I don't want to spew negatives, but I will do better... In the meantime, the Athena Magazine for Women might get published in the next couple of weeks, so I will update you on the opening party plans as soon as I have them - you all have to come out in support and hopefully we will have a kick-ass band playing - any suggestions? If you want to see the preview, I'm pretty uch finished with the website and the preview section has some of the magazine pages in it - Athena Magazine Now I'm struggling with the fact that I really want to go to the Lenny Kravitz concert tonight, but missed the tickets the first time and now see two more available on Craig's List for $100 each, what do you think Jocelyn?

The Magazine site looks great. I am really impressed. Let me know if you want to go to the show. I could still do it.

Any chance that your Athena Magazine is a relative of the Athena Magazine from the '90s I loved so much? See here: http://www.andreadawnclark.com/portfolio2.asp?CAT=AM I seriously adored that magazine and kept my copies as it just seemed too good to be true and, sure enough, was short-lived, as magazines go.
If you're reviving that amazing publication, I am thrilled beyond belief. If you are doing something totally unrelated, it matters not, since the name of the magazine makes me smile and that bodes well for your new publication. Congrats and keep us posted!!
