I was just a total a-hole to a guy in page five of this thread over at the Showfax message board.
And I feel both bummed that I stooped and proud that I didn't tell the dork to suck a fart out of my ass, which is what I really wanted to say.
Is that wrong?
Oh... and Keith wanted me to blog about elbow wrestling, which I will do... later. Got showcase stuffs to do.

He doesn't get it. He never will get it. And your bitch-slap was well warranted. It's like he did a face-plant into the big-ass building standing in the middle of an open field... And then blames the building for his severe myopia. He's obviously focusing on the wrong things in this town. If he truly understood the business of Hollywood he would be making his own way and making money and garnering the attention of others saying "oh, this guy 'gets it'... Let's hook up and work with him."
I think you were well spoken and coming from a solid foundation built on your professional experience. And Amy has your back. I think a lot of us do. I don't think you stooped. He was asking for a reality check. Too bad his narrow mindedness keeps him coming back for more.

First, I plan to use "suck a fart out of my ass" the next time I want to really zing someone. But I'm not sure I'll be able to get it out, because it makes me laugh every time I READ it, let alone say it.
At the risk of sounding like a yeswoman, I pretty much concur with what you did. I'll give my full discretion here: I think Joher's a pompous ass who got the verbal whooping he sorely deserved. He was patronizing you, and he did literally ask "exactly" where do you get off. If he can't handle your credentials and wants to focus on the what-if details, the eff him. His insulting you will get him less than nowhere.
That said, there's a definite sense of remorse when you zing or almost-exactly-zing someone with just what you wanted to say. Proud that you spoke your mind, but the manners make you feel bad. And everyone has to find their own balance with that, but sometimes I think it's enough to know that you have enough conviction every once in a while to defend yourself AND tell them to go suck eggs.
Longest. Comment. Ever. The end.

I love that "suck a fart out of my ass"!!! How about "toss my salad on a sweaty day!"
You would have probaly turned the doofis on!
Well your a down to earth genuine lady and I'm sure it takes a lot for you to get to the point of really tearing someone a new one so good for you!!!

Oh is this the same person confronting you on your credentials? You have been gracious enough!! It's BOUNDRY time now!! I'm almost ready to "read his a*s like a Jackie Collins Novel. Tell this bozo to stop hating and work on his own credentials...... looks like the green eyed monster may have gotten a hold of him.
Honestly,if people put as much energy and effort into their own lives and accomplishments instead of stewing about others success they would be further ahead and get a lot more done.
