I am mad at my TiVo. It taped so much stuff for me that it started bumping shows off. Dammit! I had saved some really great stuff just to have when I was bored and needed something fun to watch. All gone now. Dammit. I know it's my fault for having tried to grab all of the first episodes of the new shows and stuff (and having had like no time to watch anything lately), but dangit!! Grr.
Oh, in GOOD news, apparently I won KiKi's 2006 Lindsay Firth Jam Out with Your Clam Out Competition. I am honored. Truly. I have so many people to thank. So much of my life has led to this point, one at which I have been able to come up with so cheeky a phrase as to win this prestigious award. I can only hope to be a contender again next year. *sniffle*

Congratulations! Well deserved win! I didn't even realize there was a year in the name of my award, implying there would be another contest next year! I'm glad you pointed it out because I love contests and I can't wait to throw the second annual one. The first one was fun. Thanks for putting some bang into it.
Oh, and I don't know what shows your Tivo ditched, but if they were indeed pilots or premieres, you might want to check google video or yahoo video--several of this season's pilots and premieres are online. I watched Studio 60 over the weekend on my computer (before it aired last night) and I'm not sure what else is out there...but it's all out there! (Maybe you don't want to look for it though.) (I am watching so much television this week--I'm trying to give all of the new shows at least one viewing--gotta know what's out there...)

That's such a bummer about the TiVo...I've been lucky enough to be able to salvage stuff from the deleted items folder before they disappeared completely, but would be totally bummed to lose some of the new stuff from this season.
I hate it when technology tries to outsmart us.

getting Cristina is definitely a compliment....I'm hooked on this show...
We didn't have a Tivo meltdown for premires. Erik is right, most premires you can catch online. We had that same Tivo meltdown for season FINALES. So we were fucked until this past week. And then even then, we haven't had a chance to watch them all. So we're woefully behind
